We have an allergy after all
The allergy doctor ran some follow-up blood work on Mandy because skin pricks are not always the most dependable on babies her age. Leaves me wondering why they do them at all, but what do I know. Anyway, she is allergic to milk. I haven't tried a soy formula with her since she was about 8 months, so it may be time to try that again. The results last time were disastrous with a single 4 ounce bottle causing a 3-day-long diaper rash, but the cost is $8 per half can rather than $30 & I have plenty of diaper cream on hand.
I still have no explanation as to why she can't eat any meat. I have another appointment with the gastroenterologist next week. I'm ready for these particular issues to be over so I can just feed her already.
