We had our well child visit this morning, and of all things, he says one of her kidneys seems to be enlarged. So we have to go get an ultrasound to get a look-see. I have no idea what this means or when I'm supposed to worry. I'm going against my very DNA and I'm not going to worry until he tells me too. I think it's largely my HUGE confidence in him as a doctor that enables me to take this attitude. (well, maybe one quick google...)
She is still in the 95th percentile for height and her weight is about 60. Pretty much the same percentages from birth.
Since congress can't get a vegetable in her, and she's not liking the soy milk much better, he said just to keep her on soy formula, which she apparently loves. He said it had all the nutrition she even needed and the calorie content wasn't that much higher - not an issue at this point. And mommy is just going to continue the same exercise in futility that she does every night & offer her vegetables that she won't eat. She does like to smoosh them with her fingers & really enjoys feeding them to the dog. It's not a total waste.
