urologist
We just got back from the urologists. It is not two urethras that she has, but rather two ureters. You're supposed to have one from each kidney leading to the bladder, but she has two on the left side. There is a slightly elevated chance of kidney reflux with this condition, but given that she has not had any kidney infections, nor do they run in my family, he's not concerned enough to even run the test for it. It's just something to be aware of, especially if she ever gets an unexplained fever.
Really, really good news.
